Hand woven raw silk blazer from the
1960s.
This jacket is created from the most
amazing

similar
to linen but bulkier and softer to
the touch.

it

single
breasted with a notched lapel, a welted
breast
pocket and hip pockets with flaps.
The label
reads Intercontinental Mans Shop Oberoi Intercontinental Hotel, New Delhi.

I am quite fond of this Hawaiian shirt! I
do not know when it was made but it is a
soft cotton sateen with a beautiful scene
done in many shades of brown. There are three
athletic young men who appear to be pulling
some type of ocean canoe up on shore. In
the background are palm trees and crashing
waves. There is a wide decorative border
at the hem. The label reads Made Expressly
for Waltah Clarke's Hawaiian Shops Hawaii-California-Arizona-Texas-Nevada.
The shirt has short sleeves, a yoke back
with pleats and notched collar. There is
a welted left front pocket and back yoke
with pleats. The buttons are silver tone
embossed with little Roman figures The size

The BEST bowling sweater wouldn't you
agree?!
The design is a V-neck cardigan done
in creme
wool with burgundy accents. There are
two
pockets in front. The embroidered applique
in front reads Bay State Bindery '65-'66, with 3 candle pins and ball in the center.
But the best part is the embroidered
shoulder
applique with the name LEFTY. This gem was done for our pal Lefty by
the Bucky Warren Co. 149-151 Pearl
St Boston.
The size would be around a medium with
a
shoulder measurement of 21" a
chest
measurement of 42" and the sleeves
are
28" long (with the cuff down)
Lefty
sure must have loved this sweater because
he took real good care of it. There
isn't
a flaw to be found.
